Dana Griffis resigned from the Board of directors today due to the impending sale of her home and the moving of her family. The Board expressed their appreciation to Dana for her efforts and advice throughout her term on the Board of Directors. We all wish her well in her future plans.
Her resignation creates a vacancy on the Board. According to the Bylaws, the remaining Board members must vote by simple majority or more for a candidate to fill the vacancy. The Board invites any interested owner to submit via email to board@ulwsa.org their name and explanation of why they believe that they would be a great candidate to fill the vacancy on the Board. The successful volunteer would be appointed to the Board through the end of Dana's term--which ends next year. The Board intends to make a selection before the end of July.
